Officer Alfred Sandquist was killed when a fleeing suspect rammed his vehicle into the officer’s patrol car at an estimated 100 mph at the intersection of Concord and Roble Road. The collision knocked the patrol car back 100-feet. The other officer in the car and the suspect both survived. The suspect was fleeing after being caught siphoning gas.

Officer Sandquist has been with the agency for three years and was survived by his wife and two sons.
